He dismissed Hannan Sarkar, Mohammad Ashraful, and Ehsanul Haque in consecutive deliveries, leaving Bangladesh reeling at 0/3. Vaas continued his exceptional performance, claiming a fourth wicket in his opening over and finishing with figures of 6 wickets for 25 runs.
